Job Description

Adcock Ingram Distribution is looking for a Warehouse Supervisor in Durban, to assist in:

Overseeing and coordinating the daily operations of a warehouse, including managing inventory, supervising staff, and ensuring efficient and accurate shipping processes in line with SLA's. Ensure safety, training staff, and implementing processes to improve efficiency. Ensure GDP is followed in the warehouse.

Key Job Outputs:

To ensure compliance with GDP, safety & housekeeping in the warehouse To plan utilisation of resources, human and equipment, within the warehouse To manage planning, resource allocation, and inter-departmental liaison in terms of Q.C To implement SOP's as required To provide training for Staff on SOP's & GDP to ensure quality and safety awareness To ensure timeous completion of transactions and document flow to improve daily accuracy of warehouse stock To introduce measurement systems in the warehouse to improve labour efficiencies To initiate continuous improvement in the warehouse To be available for emergency call outs/ standby duty Maintain high standards of housekeeping Managing of packaging consumables/Stationery To Manage and control the warehouse management system To ensure daily productivity targets are met Managing of pallets both outbound and inbound

Matric Minimum of 2-5 years' supervisory experience in an operational role within a warehouse or Distribution centre environment Computer Literacy: MS Office Understanding of ORACLE Certificate/Diploma in Supply Chain Management environment would be advantageous * Pharmacist Assistant Certificate would be advantageous
