Adcock Ingram Distribution is looking for a Warehouse Supervisor in Durban, to assist in:

• Overseeing and coordinating the daily operations of a warehouse, including managing inventory, supervising staff, and ensuring efficient and accurate shipping processes in line with SLA's.
• Ensure safety, training staff, and implementing processes to improve efficiency.
• Ensure GDP is followed in the warehouse.

Key Job Outputs:

• To ensure compliance with GDP, safety & housekeeping in the warehouse
• To plan utilisation of resources, human and equipment, within the warehouse
• To manage planning, resource allocation, and inter-departmental liaison in terms of Q.C
• To implement SOP's as required
• To provide training for Staff on SOP's & GDP to ensure quality and safety awareness
• To ensure timeous completion of transactions and document flow to improve daily accuracy of warehouse stock
• To introduce measurement systems in the warehouse to improve labour efficiencies
• To initiate continuous improvement in the warehouse
• To be available for emergency call outs/ standby duty
• Maintain high standards of housekeeping
• Managing of packaging consumables/Stationery
• To Manage and control the warehouse management system
• To ensure daily productivity targets are met
• Managing of pallets both outbound and inbound

• Matric
• Minimum of 2-5 years' supervisory experience in an operational role within a warehouse or Distribution centre environment
• Computer Literacy: MS Office
• Understanding of ORACLE
• Certificate/Diploma in Supply Chain Management environment would be advantageous
• Pharmacist Assistant Certificate would be advantageous
