Job Summary Leading Refrigerated body & trailer manufacturer in Gauteng requires the services of an experienced stores/warehouse manager with minimum 5 years production warehouse experience. Must be energetic with exceptional attention to detail. No criminal record, own transport, able to handle severe pressure and preferably SA citizen. Diploma - Higher certificate in warehouse management / logistics will be beneficial and receive extra credit. Managing, maintaining, updating and re-inventing the KanBan program on a continual basis. xe2x80xa2 Responsible for organising and recording all stock movement & finished product and conducting random checks on the BOM request/s. xe2x80xa2 Maintaining systems and ensuring all data is recorded in the appropriate databases enabling the delivery of world class, best practice service to the client. xe2x80xa2 Maintain a professional and effective relationship with all internal and external parties. xe2x80xa2 Takes responsibility for own and others safety, follows guidelines and procedures Reports and escalates H+S issues. xe2x80xa2 Responsible for ensuring a safe workplace and adherence to good housekeeping practices. xe2x80xa2 Inventory Control for all Warehouse Functions xe2x80xa2 Maintain quality systems to ensure safe and accurate inventory control to ensure traceability of all product history and correct product loaded against orders. xe2x80xa2 Ensure all inventory transactions are captured inside the appropriate inventory system in a timely manner
