Don't miss this opportunity to take your career to the next level with us xe2x80x93 apply today!Minimum requirementNational Diploma, BTech, or BCom in Supply Chain Management, Production, Logistics, or similar tertiary qualification.Minimum 5 xe2x80x93 10 yearsxe2x80x99 experience in a similar Management role.Manufacturing industry experience is ESSENTIAL.Knowledge and implementation of safety components in a manufacturing envionment.ResponsibilitiesManage safety, health, environmental, and statutory compliance.Ensure effective management and development of personnel.Effectively manage warehouse and packaging variable and fixed costs budgets.Drive quality network to ensure compliance with quality specifications.Ensure stock integrity within areas of responsibility.Ensure best practice implementation and continuous improvement in all facets of the warehouse and packaging operation.Manage the inbound and outbound logistics service providers in line with contract and SLA requirements agreed with the service providers.Effective planning and scheduling in line with the daily plan.Manage customer expectations (OTIF, schedule adherence, lead times).Manage supplier OTIF and quality.Vehicle management (Safety, Maintenance, Utilisation, Running Hours, Supplier Management).Identification and scoping of warehouse optimization projects in terms of technology, infrastructure, process, and material handling.Contract management.Ensure effective management of accurate stock control.visit https://gmrc.co.za/vacancies/
