POSITION OVERVIEW

Based at our Gauteng Branch to further strengthen our local operations , we are currently seeking a:

Warehouse Operations Coordinator -

( Johannesburg, South Africa )

Reporting directly to the Warehouse manager , the successful candidate for this key function will be responsible for:
To ensure correct stock receiving, reporting of stock level in the warehouse and to ensure the continuous improvement of warehouse manpower improvement. To support smooth operations of delivery of stock to customers; sufficient & correct stock are loaded into the trucks with record of batch numbers in the delivery documentations. Coordinate efficient 3rd party transport arrangement and timely delivery to external clients. Manage the logistics of importation and exportation of the company.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES



To Ensure correct stock receiving and accurate bin maintenance. Run weekly cycle counts and investigate stock discrepancies, damages, and queries. Manage all receiving from the National Warehouse and address any discrepancies. Support smooth delivery operations by ensuring correct stock and batch numbers are loaded and documented. Test and ensure traceability in loading and picking processes. Supervise operators in stock arrangement, packing, palletizing, loading and unloading goods. Ensure proper stock arrangement following FEFO and FIFO principles, with stock stored in designated areas. Maintain accurate bin records and conduct weekly cycle counts. Monitor obsolete, slow-moving, and near-expiry stock, and report to management. Ensure cleanliness and security of the warehouse and loading compound, with documented cleaning records. Ensure proper maintenance of warehouse equipment (reach truck, pallet jacks, etc.) Ensure correct quantity and batch numbers of outgoing stock are loaded and recorded. Coordinate with Accounts for monthly stock takes and reconciliation. Perform other duties as per operational requirements.

PROFILE



Matric and Diploma/Degree in Logistics/Transport Management/Supply Chain/Operation Management At least 3 - 5 years' experience in warehousing: with a proven track record of FMCG Experience will be an advantage Driver's License Computer literacy: MS Office suite (Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, Word) Over and above normal working hours, occasional overtime is required. Good communication skills - English is a prerequisite - ability to read and write; additional language(s) an advantage. Written comprehension - the ability to read and understand information and ideas presented through spoken words and sentences. Good personality, hardworking, teamwork, service orientated, creative, innovative, trustworthy, open to learn from feedback.
