RPO Recruitmentxe2x80x99s client in the logistics industry is urgently seeking the expertise of a Warehouse Manager (shifts) to join their team in the Eastern Cape.

Responsibilities:

• Shift outcome achieves customer contractual services levels
• Shift expenditures are managed within shift budget cost overruns for shift is investigated and appropriate countermeasures are instituted to prevent further overruns
• Monitor and enforce procedural compliance on shift staff on shift is trained on company procedure Corrective action for all non-conformances on shift
• Continuous improvements for shift actively pursued. Hold staff on shift to account
• Consistently disciplined and trained staff on shift. This will include scheduling, conducting, and holding staff meetings
• Resolve staff issues and queries promptly
• Train and develop staff
• Decisions taken guided by company values / values into account
• Employees are constantly reminded of values
• Responsible for shift planning by planning shifts in advance
• Shift plan includes staffing and equipment according to volume and timing. Report on Shift outcome (Plan vs. Actual)
• Ensures accurate recording of staff time and attendance
• Communicate plan before shift
• Unsafe matters corrected immediately on shift
• Shift documentation is complete and accurate for all activities
• Documentation is filed on shift completion
• Quality Compliance monitored on every shift; standards Shift is compliant with DQSP requirements
• Corrective action for all quality non-conformances on shift
• Responsible for Quality Control and rejection of product out of specifications
• Shift expenditure is managed within shift budget. Cost overruns for shift are investigated and appropriate counter measures are instituted to prevent further overruns
• Monitor and enforce procedural compliance on shift
• All staff on shift is trained on Company procedures
• Corrective action for all non-conformances on shift
• Submit report for shift, see that reports are accurate
• Report deadlines are met
• Explain Shift achievement vs Shift Plan
• Shift documentation is complete and accurate for all activities
• Documentation is filed on shift completion

Requirements:

• Grade 12 is compulsory with Relevant Tertiary Degree, Honours Degree in Business / Supply Chain Management or similar
• 3-5 Yearsxe2x80x99 experience in Warehousing & Distribution, Transport, FMCG, QRS Management
• Intermediate to advanced Computer literacy MS Excel, Outlook PowerPoint, Advanced (WMS) Skills and GP skills
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills (English)
• Ability to take responsibility

• MS Office with intermediate

Benefits:

• Salary: R400K/yr xe2x80x93 R350K/yr, salary negotiable
