Job Description

1. Purpose of This Job:

To be responsible in its entirety for all Warehousing and Logistical functions in the Exim JHB Branch, including but not limited to the managing & optimization of the warehousing function, receiving, dispatching, stock control, systems, site maintenance, reporting and staff management to ensure compliance and customer satisfaction at all times.

YTD OTIF > 98% YTD Stock Write offs or Losses < 0.10% of Stockholding Stock Counting Accuracy 97% Governance Audit results (FSSC) - No Major Non Conformances that potentially results in accreditation failure Missing Invoices 0 - Ensure all POD's is accounted for according to the invoices signed Interbranch Distribution 100% (No orders due for previous months due to logistical constraints) Lost Time Injuries 0 Fleet Availability 98% Train warehouse staff 100% Customer Complaints < 8 Incidents Site & Fleet Maintenance schedules Adherence100% People Retention 90% Key Fleet - Fuel Standards on par with Logistics Industry Standards (Measure against Fleetwatch) Ctrack - Driver Driving Behaviour improvement vs Last Year (Safety Dashboard, Etc)

Requirements:

Diploma/Degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Operations (or equivalent experience). 5+ years warehousing experience with 3+ years in a supervisory/manager role. Strong WMS/ERP and scanning proficiency Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and data accuracy. Effective communication and stakeholder management across functions. Safety-focused with sound knowledge of OHS requirements and safe MHE operations. Continuous improvement mindset with adaptability under pressure

4. Key Responsibilities:

Lead and manage the team for performance - The Company's vision, mission, values and strategic goals communicated, understood and endorsed by employees. Individual and team goals developed jointly, taking past performance into account, and aligned to overall business goals. Active participation and positive contribution made in team meetings whilst collaborating to meet common business objectives. Develop respectful relationships with all team members. Conflict managed through taking into account the views of all parties' involved and striving to reach an amicable solution. Disciplinary and grievance procedures applied consistently and fairly if needed. Ensure full compliance at all times with all Food Safety systems, health and safety regulations, ETQM and company policies. Maintain safety and housekeeping standards. PPE issued, used and maintained in good working condition in accordance with procedures and legislation. Accident and incident investigations conducted and reported on, as per company policy and legislation, and corrective action taken to prevent recurrence. Maintain and manage all company vehicles. FLT's, equipment and machinery. Accountability and responsibility for the fleet through managing vehicles and maintenance schedules and ensuring their maintenance at optimal levels at least cost. Regular fleet inspections conducted to ensure fleet condition meets the Road Traffic Act requirements, company image standard, and on-day, on-time and in-full commitments. Ensure all purchasing are properly planned and executed to maintain optimum stock levels at all times. Compliance with the Procurement to Payment policy (PTP) managed. Show ways in which an approach of being cost conscious is displayed. Financial optimisation opportunities continuously explored to reduce spend, as and when possible. Identify and exploit productivity opportunities - Operational efficiencies achieved by eliminating non value adding tasks. Ensure adherence to customer delivery governance standards - Signed Invoices and ensure all credits are properly investigated, recorded, reconciled and accounted for. Manage daily picking and ensure required productivity levels are maintained, and orders due are dispatched as per the back order. Resolve, report and record any picking, system, staff, dispatching, credits etc. errors and problems immediately Maintain the site, warehouse, work areas, vehicles and equipment in a clean, orderly and presentable condition at all times Ensure all stock received are properly received, recorded, GRV'ed and packed away within 48 hours of arrival All stock to be managed on a FIFO basis Assist with all company project as required from time to time Manage all processes, staff, deliveries, and logistics at all times to obtain maximum productivity Ensure proper preparation, and regular and accurate stock takes and cycle counts are done Plan delivery routes, and ensure trip sheets are done and accounted for Communicate as required with internal and external customers any information as required on any aspect of the business. Manage third parties -Performance of contractors managed according to company policy and agreed SLA's. Manage all processes and resources containing to Maintenance department.

Pay: R30000,00 - R40000,00 per month
