Job Description

ROLE DESCRIPTION







Responsible for the profitable and efficient management of the inland regional office focused on field services - including, but not limited to, installations, maintenance, and audits, as well as collaboration with the warehousing function within the region. Required to contribute to the development and implementation of operational strategies and processes.





This position will be based in Johannesburg, with the following regions under the it's control:




Johannesburg Bloemfontein Polokwane Nelspruit

KEY PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES






Planning & Management







Improve operational efficiency and profitability through:


Thorough campaign/task planning & management Staff management (job descriptions, bi-annual KPI reviews, discipline, etc.) and recruitment Motivating, mentoring & training of staff Implementing agreed business policies, processes and procedures Performance measurement & reporting Control of all expenses vs agreed budgets



Operational Accountability - Field Services







Accountable for the management of Field Services teams including:




Campaign Planning & on-time delivery of high-quality Field Services Appointing & managing all Tradereach staff, agents and contractors Fleet management of the Tradereach vehicles Ensure all company processes and procedures are implemented (including Health & Safety)

Proactive Leadership & Communication






Continually review areas of accountability to introduce and implement value-added strategies Enhance the performance of the regional office, resulting in greater client and staff satisfaction Ensure the National Operations Manager is kept updated on Regional developments



Quality Assurance & Work Inspection






Accept accountability for the quality of work delivered by all team members Ensure regular field visits are conducted to monitor quality & understand areas of focus in the drive for service excellence



QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE






Degree / Diploma / National Certificate or equivalent Minimum of 5 years management experience



SKILLS & EXPERIENCE






Microsoft Office proficient Demonstrated leadership and vision in managing staff groups and major projects or initiatives Excellent interpersonal skills and a collaborative management style High professional ethical standards Excels at operating in a fast-paced, dynamic environment Ability to delegate responsibilities effectively Strong communication skills (oral and written) Problem-solving skills Calm and Professional
