Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate daily warehouse operations and team performance.
- Ensure accurate receipt, storage, and dispatch of materials and products.
- Conduct regular inventory cycle counts and audits to maintain stock accuracy.
- Enforce health and safety protocols and maintain equipment in good condition.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (production, logistics, etc.) to optimize processes.
- Maintain up-to-date records of warehouse metrics, including stock aging and productivity.
- Identify and manage obsolete stock and oversee stock layouts across the foundry.
- Manage protective clothing issuance and monitor internal stock requests.
- Oversee the accurate and timely data capturing by stores clerks.
- Matric certificate (Grade 12).
- Minimum 5 yearsxe2x80x99 experience as a Warehouse Supervisor in a foundry or manufacturing environment.
- Proven experience with Syspro and barcoding stock systems.
- Valid forklift license.
- Strong organisational and detail-oriented mindset.
- Ability to lead in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft 365.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
