An established company within the manufacturing and retail segments of the office, kitchen, furniture and shop fitting industry invite applications of a suitably qualified and experienced candidate for the position of
Warehouse Controller.
The position to be based at the branch office
in Kramerville, Johannesburg.
Employment to commence
by no later than 1 February 2026
whilst commencement in January 2026 will be advantageous.
Overview:
The overall responsibility to ensure for the effective and efficient functioning of the warehouse and distribution functions in support of branch operations and in achievement of business objectives.
Minimum requirements
Gr 12 supported by an applicable qualification and/or experience in Warehousing and Distribution.
5 - 7 years applicable experience in warehouse and distribution functions of which at least 3 years in a supervisory capacity.
Sound knowledge of and applied skills in warehouse and distribution operations including receiving, dispatch, picking, order fulfillment, stock control, warehouse layout, route and delivery scheduling and administrative processes and procedures.
Sound computer literacy with good applied skill in MS Excel with previous knowledge, use and application of warehouse and stock management systems ( e.g. IQ, SAP, SYSPRO).
Sound planning, organizing and control skills with attention to detail.
Proven track record in maintaining and exceeding expected performance standards through the use of
warehouse and distribution metrics as well as leading a team.
Fully proficient in English with excellent communication skills.
An accredited and valid South African driver`s license and own vehicle.
Must be able to work overtime and on a Saturday (rotating work schedule).
Physically fit with full mobility in performing physical manual tasks.
