Warehouse Assistant

Job Description
Assist with a wide range of tasks in and around the Warehouse, including receiving, dispatch, stock counts and hygiene.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Receiving
- Receiving all stock via the Qwix system
- Ensure all stock coming in has the correct pallet ID
- All inbound inspections (Packaging material & customer returns)
- Physical inspections, taking of samples for lab, and capturing on the Qwix system
- Finalizing admin tasks and scanning
Put-away functions - Placing of stock in correct bin allocations, when received from bottling or with inbound - adhering to Qwix instructions on scanners
Picking
- Picking of stock according to the Qwix system - instruction on scanners
- Picking of stock from load sheets if Qwix system is offline
- Picking stock to replenish Bottling daily
Stock take - Doing stock takes and cycle counts as communicated
Rework - Rework of damaged or QC rejected stock
Housekeeping - Ensuring all housekeeping is done, on a daily, weekly, or monthly basis according to schedule
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:
- Grade 12 / Matric certificate (non-negotiable)
- Valid forklift license (non-negotiable)
- Minimum of 1 year relevant experience in a warehouse environment (non-negotiable)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and QWIX
- SAP system knowledge will be considered an advantage
- Ability to communicate effectively in both English and Afrikaans
- Proven experience in receiving processes
- Hands-on experience with both inbound and outbound logistics
- Prior exposure to a factory or manufacturing environment will be beneficial
