Job Description
We currently have a vacancy for the position of Warehouse Assistant (Late Shift), based at our Warehouse in the West Rand. Overall purpose of the job: To perform various tasks within the Warehouse. This is a late shift position and the candidate must be able to work late shift hours, must reside in the West Rand or Soweto.
Key Duties and Responsibilities (including but not limited to):
- Picking, packing, and checking of stock.
- Replenishing of stock.
- General Warehouse housekeeping.
- Loading and unloading of products.
- Handle Delicate and fragile products in warehouse.
- Assist with receiving of stock and check that stock received is correct.
- Prepare products for shipment or delivery when required.
- Assist with deliveries and collections to and from customers when required.
- Grade 12/Matric (or equivalent) Essential
- Warehouse and distribution working experience Essential.
- Experience working Late shift /Shifts Essential
- Forklift certification (highly beneficial).
- Computer literate (Advantage).
- Able to work in a team.
- Good command of the English language.
- Good communication skills.
- Excellent Mathematical and literacy skills.
- Attention to detail.
- Good time management skills.
- Dependable individual.
