The Warehouse and Logistics Manager:
- Manage daily warehouse operations, ensuring efficiency and compliance with safety standards.
- Oversee the logistics process, including transportation, storage, and distribution of goods.
- Develop and implement strategies to optimise supply chain performance.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate stock control processes.
- Collaborate with suppliers and internal teams to ensure timely delivery of materials.
- Analyse logistics data to identify areas for improvement and cost savings.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and company policies.
- Lead and manage a team, fostering a culture of efficiency and accountability.
A successful Warehouse and Logistics Manager should have:
- Proven expertise in warehouse and logistics management, ideally in the industrial/manufacturing sector.
- Strong understanding of supply chain processes and inventory management systems.
- Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to lead and motivate a team effectively.
- Ideally coming from the Manufacturing and production industry within refrigeration/ cooling
- Knowledge of relevant compliance and safety regulations.
- Competency in using logistics and warehouse management software.
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
