Our client in the Hospitality industry is currently looking for Waitrons in Sea Point, Cape Town.

Responsibilities:

• Provide excellent customer service to ensure a memorable dining experience.
• Take and serve orders with a high level of professionalism.
• Knowledgeably present and recommend menu items, including wines and their origins.
• Operate cash registers and ordering information systems efficiently.
• Handle transactions accurately using basic math skills.
• Maintain a strong customer service orientation, actively listening to and addressing guest needs.
• Demonstrate attentiveness and patience when dealing with a distinguished clientele.
• Ensure timely and accurate delivery of orders to guests.
• Collaborate with kitchen and bar staff to ensure smooth service.
• Uphold impeccable presentation and grooming standards.

• Minimum Grade 12 qualification.
• Preferably 3 years of previous Waiter/Waitress experience in a similar high-end environment.
• Basic knowledge of wines and familiarity with surrounding wine regions.
• Hands-on experience with cash registers and ordering information systems.
• Basic math skills for accurate transaction handling.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Strong customer service orientation with an attentive and patient approach.
• Comfortable and professional demeanour when serving a distinguished clientele.
• Well-presented with attention to grooming and appearance.
• Flexibility and accountability in adapting to dynamic work requirements.
• Enthusiastic personality to contribute to a positive and vibrant atmosphere.

• Up to R6 165 per month.
