About the role

Baker & Bean in Simon's Town is looking for a skilled and enthusiastic

Waitron/Barista

to join our Front-of-House team. This is a

dual role

-- you'll serve customers on the floor as well as prepare high-quality coffees and other beverages behind the bar.

Requirements (mark as "Required" on Indeed):

Minimum

2 years' experience

in a similar cafe or restaurant environment

Able to reliably commute

to/from Simon's Town (or have reliable transport) Strong

barista skills

and knowledge of espresso-based drinks

Friendly, outgoing, and well-spoken

with a professional appearance Excellent

, multitasking, and teamwork abilities Reliable, punctual, and genuinely enjoys engaging with customers

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and serve coffees, teas, and other beverages to cafe standards Greet and serve guests with warmth and efficiency Handle orders, payments, and table service using the POS system Maintain cleanliness and presentation of the coffee station and FOH areas Support team members to ensure a smooth, positive customer experience

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: R28,79 per hour

Expected hours: 10 - 20 per week
