Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Waiter to join our team. As a Waiter, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring that our guests have a memorable dining experience.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Greet and serve guests: Welcome guests, take orders, and serve food and beverages in a timely and professional manner.
2. Provide exceptional customer service: Ensure that guests have a positive dining experience by being attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable about the menu and restaurant.
3. Take orders and manage tables: Take orders accurately, manage tables efficiently, and ensure that guests receive their orders in a timely manner.
4. Maintain a clean and organized workspace: Ensure that the dining area, tables, and equipment are clean and well-maintained.
5. Work effectively with other staff members: Collaborate with other waiters, bartenders, and kitchen staff to ensure seamless service and a positive guest experience.
6. Handle cash and credit transactions: Manage cash and credit transactions accurately, handle customer complaints and concerns professionally, and maintain a high level of integrity and honesty.
7. Stay up-to-date with menu and restaurant knowledge: Familiarize yourself with menu items, ingredients, and preparation methods, as well as restaurant policies and procedures.
Requirements:
1. Previous experience: Minimum 1-2 years of experience as a waiter in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
2. Excellent communication skills: Ability to communicate effectively with guests, staff, and management.
3. Strong interpersonal skills: Ability to work well with others, build rapport with guests, and maintain a positive attitude.
4. Basic math skills: Ability to handle cash and credit transactions accurately.
5. Physical demands: Ability to stand for long periods, lift heavy objects, and move quickly and efficiently.
6. Availability: Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Preferred Qualifications:
1. Certifications: Food safety certification, wine knowledge certification, or other relevant certifications.
2. Language skills: Ability to speak multiple languages.
3. Previous experience in a similar establishment: Experience working in a high-end restaurant, hotel, or resort
