Job Summary

As a Waiter at Chard Grill & Wine Bar, you will play a key role in delivering exceptional guest service and ensuring every dining experience is warm, seamless, and professional. You'll embody the spirit of hospitality, demonstrate excellent product knowledge (especially of our grill and wine offerings), and contribute to maintaining the high standards that define Chard.

Key Responsibilities

Greet and seat guests warmly, ensuring they feel welcome and attended to. Present menus and provide detailed knowledge of menu items, daily specials, and wine pairings. Take and process food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently. Serve food and drinks in a timely, polished, and professional manner. Ensure tables are properly set and maintained throughout service. Check in with guests regularly to ensure satisfaction and handle any requests or concerns promptly. Collaborate closely with kitchen and bar teams to ensure smooth service flow. Process payments and handle billing accurately. Uphold hygiene, cleanliness, and presentation standards in line with Chard's brand image. Support setup, breakdown, and restocking tasks as needed.

Requirements

Previous experience as a waiter/waitress in a restaurant or wine bar (steakhouse experience preferred). Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Excellent knowledge of food and beverage service standards. Basic wine knowledge (wine service training is a plus). Ability to work under pressure while maintaining composure and professionalism. Attention to detail and commitment to high-quality guest service. Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
