The Role: Waiter / Waitress

We are seeking reliable and professional individuals to join our team as

Waiters/Waitresses

. Your primary focus will be delivering exceptional

Serve with Care

customer service in our restaurant area, ensuring a positive experience for families taking a break from the play maze.

Your Core Responsibilities Include:

Serve with Care:

Provide prompt, courteous, and efficient food and beverage service to guests in our restaurant area.

Integrity Matters:

Process orders accurately and handle cash and card payments responsibly.

Stay Clean:

Maintain the highest level of hygiene and cleanliness in the dining area, tables, and service stations.

Team Collaboration:

Work efficiently with kitchen and play area staff to manage busy periods seamlessly.

Menu Knowledge:

Advise guests on menu items, specials, and options suitable for families and children.

Essential Requirements (Required Qualifications)

To be considered for this exciting temporary role, you must meet the following criteria:

Age:

Over

18 years of age

.

Legal Status:

Valid South African ID or work permit.

Education:

Matric certificate.

Communication:

Fluent in English.

Availability:

Must be available to work

weekends

and

public holidays

(essential for the holiday season).

Fitness:

Physically fit and able to perform tasks, including standing for long periods, lifting trays, and moving quickly between tables.

Integrity:

Must pass a company criminal record check (Clear criminal record required).

Desired Skills (Advantageous)

Candidates with the following experience or certifications will have a distinct advantage:

Prior experience working as a Waiter/Waitress in a busy restaurant or cafe. Experience handling cash and POS systems. Customer service or hospitality training.

Ability to commute/relocate:

Tokai, Western Cape: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
