Role: Senior Voice Network Engineer
Location: Illovo

A leading telecoms company are looking for a Senior Installations/Provisioning Engineer/Team Lead to join their dynamic team. You will need to have solid network installations experience, ideally within an ISP, strong routing, switching and Voice/VoIP experience. They are an employer of choice who have a close and collaborative team and a family type of environment where they look after their staff I.E. supply meals at the office. Qualifications and Requirements (desired but not compulsory):

• Cisco Certified : CCNA, CCNP Routing and Switching
• Juniper Certified : JNCIA, JNCIS-ENT/SP
• Microsoft Teams: MS-100, MS-700 and MS-740
• Valid SA Drivers' License and Own Vehicle (Required)

Experience Requirement:

• 3-5 Years ISP experience in Networking, VoIP and Voice
• Understanding of L2 and L3 technologies and protocols
• Understanding of VoIP technologies
• Understanding of Service Provider and Enterprise level architecture
• Experience working with Cisco, Juniper and Mikrotik routers and switches
• Experience with BGP, MPLS, SD-WAN,QOS and Hosting
• Experience with Fortinet security appliances, UTM, SSL VPN and IPSEC - advantageous
• APN experience will be advantageous
• Microsoft Teams will be advantageous

Skills Requirement:

• Configuring and deploying routers and switches in an enterprise network environment
• Configuring and deploying VoIP Solutions
• Working knowledge and ability to troubleshoot Routing and Switching and Hosting services
• Working knowledge and ability to troubleshoot Voice related problems (SIP and MS Teams)
• Configuring and deploying SD-WAN solutions
• Python scripting skills will be advantageous
• Attention to Detail and Quality of work
• Documentation and Administration
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment with time constraints
• Team Orientated
• Ability to teach and be taught
• Ability to take ownership of projects with minimal supervision
• Good written and oral communication skills
