Requirements
A bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years in same or related field.
Certification from virtualization technology vendors will be added as an advantage.
Knowledge on VMware vSphere/ESXi, Microsoft Hyper-V, or open-source alternatives like KVM/QEMU
Strong understanding of networking concepts, including virtual networking
Knowledge of VLANs, subnets, and virtual switches
Familiarity with storage area networks (SAN) or network-attached storage (NAS) solutions.
Skills
Automation and scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell, Python)
Manage configurations, and integrate with other systems.
Implement security measures to protect virtualized environments.
Knowledge of backup and disaster recovery solutions.
Manage backing up VMs and recovering from system failures.
Strong troubleshooting skills to identify and resolve issues related to virtualized infrastructure.
