We are seeking a highly motivated and independent individual to join our team as a Virtual Property Manager. This is a unique opportunity to work remotely and utilize your initiative and problem-solving skills to support our fast-paced real estate business.
As a VPM, you will go above and beyond typical virtual assistant tasks and be empowered to make informed decisions while helping us find and manage tenants, acquire and maintain properties, and comply with real estate regulations.
Responsibilities:
Manage and prioritize tasks independently:
You will maintain a clear understanding of our priorities and allocate your time effectively to ensure the completion of all assigned tasks.
Make independent decisions:
You will be expected to make informed decisions within established parameters and based on your understanding of our company goals and procedures.
Research and gather information:
You will independently research and gather information to complete assigned tasks and support decision-making. Provide a service that aligns with all our business activities, the CEO's work habits, travel habits, and preferences. You will also attend to the personal matters of the CEO in the strictest confidence.
Tenant screening, lease administration, and resident communication:
Conduct background checks on prospective tenants, prepare leases, and respond to tenant requests.
Communication and collaboration:
You will effectively communicate with internal and external stakeholders via email, phone, and other platforms.
Data entry and document management:
Proficient in G Suite applications to collate and manage accurate records and skilled in Adobe tools to edit, e-sign, and combine rental documents.
Project management:
You may be responsible for managing and supporting specific property management projects, including staying on deadlines and tracking progress.
Qualifications and Experience:
Property management experience
3+ years of experience in a related field.
Demonstrable experience in an administration/executive assistant/PA role in a highly pressurized environment requiring tact, judgment, and discretion in handling internal and external contacts.
Ability to negotiate
Previous experience managing resources
Experience in successfully working with senior management.
Previous experience managing Airbnb will be beneficial, but is not essential.
