Role Overview
This is a hybrid role combining Social Media Growth and Executive Virtual Assistance. The Virtual Assistant & Social Media Specialist will be responsible for strengthening the company's digital presence while also acting as a trusted operational partner to the founder.
The role requires someone who is proactive, highly organized, resourceful, and capable of handling both creative brand-building work and structured administrative or research-driven tasks. This position is well-suited for someone who enjoys variety, ownership, and long-term growth within a business.
Key Responsibilities
1. Social Media & Brand Growth
Develop and execute a social media strategy focused on audience growth and engagement
Create content that speaks to two audiences:
Industrial and construction clients
High-end weddings, planners, and event professionals
Manage daily social media activity, including posting, scheduling, and engagement
Monitor and respond to comments and direct messages professionally and promptly
Proactively engage with event planners, vendors, and potential industrial partners
Maintain a consistent brand voice aligned with premium positioning
2. Administrative Support & Inbox Management
Serve as the first point of contact for inbound inquiries via email and social platforms
Ensure timely, professional responses to customers and partners
Support the quoting process by gathering required details and following instructions
Coordinate meetings with vendors, legal counsel, and business partners
Maintain organized records and follow-ups across tasks and communications
3. Strategic & Operational Research
Conduct structured research on operational topics such as:
Waste removal processes and logistics
Equipment cost analysis and break-even calculations
Buy vs. rent evaluations for fleet expansion
Perform business development research, including:
Trademarking and legal requirements
Identifying and vetting specialized service providers (e.g., attorneys, consultants)
Coordinating initial outreach and consultations
Convert high-level direction into clear summaries, insights, or recommendations to support decision-making
Required Skills & Qualifications
Experience & Background
Minimum of 3 years of experience in Social Media Management with demonstrated growth results
Prior experience in a hybrid role combining marketing and administrative responsibilities is a strong plus
Communication & Language
Exceptional written and verbal English communication skills
Spanish fluency is highly valued for internal coordination and collaboration
Technical & Tools
Proficiency with social media scheduling and management tools
Experience using basic design tools such as Canva
Familiarity with project management or task-tracking tools
Comfortable working with documents, spreadsheets, and online research tools
Mindset & Work Style
Highly self-directed and proactive; able to identify gaps and propose solutions
Strong analytical skills, including comfort with numbers, logistics, and structured research
Organized, dependable, and detail-oriented
Comfortable working closely with a founder in a fast-moving environment
