The Recipe for Success: Role Summary
We are seeking an enthusiastic and creative
Videographer Intern
to join our Marketing Team, based in Somerset West. The role is ideal for someone who is passionate about visual storytelling and eager to gain hands-on experience in a premium retail environment. You'll help to create engaging content for Le Creuset's social media platforms, capturing the essence of our brand and showcasing our products in compelling ways.
The successful candidate should have a valid driver's license and their own vehicle, as the role may involve travel between locations. The internship requires a commitment of approximately 20 hours / 3 days per week, while offering valuable exposure to the fast-paced world of retail marketing and an opportunity to grow your creative portfolio.
Ingredients: Key Responsibilities
Content Creation:
+ Shoot and edit high-quality videos for various platforms, including Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook.
+ Capture product demonstrations, lifestyle shots, customer experiences, and behind-the-scenes content
Creative Collaboration:
+ Work closely with the marketing team to brainstorm and develop content ideas that align with our brand strategy.
+ Attend team meetings to discuss objectives, campaign ideas, and feedback.
Social Media Engagement:
+ Assist with our social media efforts by posting content and engaging with our audience.
+ Monitor trends in social media, video content, and retail marketing.
Brand Representation:
+ Ensure that all video content aligns with our brand identity and voice.
+ Help maintain a positive and professional image for our business online.
The Perfect Blend:
What We're Looking ForCurrently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Film, Media, Marketing, Communications, or related fields.
Basic knowledge of videography and video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, CapCut or similar).
Ability to shoot stills is advantageous, but not essential.
Strong understanding of social media platforms, especially visual content types.
Creative mindset with a passion for storytelling through visual media.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
Up to date with the latest digital marketing / social media trends and best practices.
