Description

• Assist veterinarians in providing high-quality care to small animals
• Administer medications, vaccines, and treatments as directed by veterinarians
• Perform laboratory tests, diagnostic procedures, and imaging techniques
• Monitor patients during surgeries and recovery
• Educate pet owners on proper animal care and medication administration
• Maintain accurate medical records and ensure compliance with regulatory standards

Minimum Requirements

• Veterinary Nursing Diploma or BVet Nursing Degree (University of Pretoria)
• Registration with the South African Veterinary Council (SAVC)
• Solid background in anaesthesiology and patient care
• Previous experience operating CT equipment or in cardiology, veterinary medicine, or critical care will be advantageous
• Excellent teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills
