BSc/BTech/National Diploma in Mine Environmental Control or related field.
Advanced Certificate in Mine Environmental Control (Chamber of Mines).
Minimum of 7-10 years' experience in mine ventilation, with at least 3 years in a supervisory or superintendent role.
Experience in both underground and surface ventilation systems.
In-depth knowledge of relevant legislation, SANS and MHSA regulations.
Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Computer literate (Ventsim, Surpac, Microsoft Office, etc.).
South African Citizenship

Responsibilities:
Develop, implement, and monitor the mine ventilation plan following legal and company standards.
Ensure compliance with the Mine Health and Safety Act and other relevant legislation.
Monitor air quality, temperature, dust levels, and airflow throughout the mine.
Conduct regular inspections and audits to ensure the effectiveness of ventilation controls.
Provide technical guidance and support to the ventilation team and management.
Prepare and submit statutory reports and documentation.
Coordinate with engineering, production, and health and safety teams.
Supervise and train ventilation officers.
Conduct all work according to required standards and specifications
