OBJECTIVE
The role of Veeva Vault Technical Support is responsible for providing expert-level support and administration for Veeva Vault applications. This includes troubleshooting system issues, assisting users, managing configurations, and ensuring optimal performance of the platform. The specialist will collaborate with internal teams, business users, and Veeva support to address technical challenges, enhance system functionality, and maintain compliance with industry regulations. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Veeva Vault applications, Life Sciences compliance requirements, and technical problem-solving skills.
Requirements
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Technical Support & Troubleshooting:

  • Provide first and second-level technical support for Veeva Vault users.
  • Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve application-related issues efficiently.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and Veeva support to escalate and resolve complex issues.
System Administration & Configuration:
  • Manage user access, permissions, and security settings within Veeva Vault.
  • Assist in system configurations, workflows, and metadata updates as needed.
User Training & Documentation:
  • Develop user guides, FAQs, and training materials for end-users.
  • Conduct training sessions to improve user proficiency with Veeva Vault.
Performance Monitoring & Optimization:
  • Monitor system performance and ensure smooth operation of the Veeva Vault platform.
  • Recommend and implement best practices for system utilization and compliance.
Compliance & Validation Support:
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations (GxP, 21 CFR Part 11).
  • Assist with system validation, change management, and audit readiness.
Collaboration & Continuous Improvement:
  • Work closely with business users, IT teams, and Veeva representatives to enhance system functionality.
  • Stay up to date with Veeva Vault updates, releases, and best practices.
Qualifications & Skills:
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Life Sciences, or a related field.
Experience:
  • 2+ years of experience in technical support, system administration, or application support for Veeva Vault.
  • Experience with Veeva Vault modules such as QualityDocs, PromoMats, eTMF, RIM, or QMS is a plus.
Technical Skills:
  • Strong knowledge of Veeva Vault platform administration and troubleshooting.
  • Experience with SQL, APIs, and basic scripting is a plus.
  • Familiarity with GxP, 21 CFR Part 11, and validation requirements.
Soft Skills:
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Certifications:
  • Veeva Vault Administrator Certification (preferred)
  • ITIL Certification (a plus)
