The validations team is a central function within the company, as such you will work alongside the onboarding, account management and support teams. Under the direction of the Validations Team Lead, your job will be to analyze customer documentation accurately and timeously. As a Validator you will be expected to accurately and timely complete and validate customer's documentation that are submitted by various financial institutions. This includes following logical chronological steps, completing qualitative checks, capturing document information, and comparing the final set of information.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONSProvide exceptional customer service at all times. Ensure all client-specific requirements and validation instructions are implemented correctly through Validation Notes and Overrides. Accurately review, validate, and capture customer documentation submitted by clients or financial institutions, ensuring alignment with regulatory and internal validation processes. Perform qualitative and quantitative checks to assess the authenticity, completeness, and compliance of submitted documents. Ensure all validated documentation meets FICA compliance standards before progressing or notifying relevant officers of discrepancies. Compare document data against customer profiles and third-party sources to confirm accuracy and consistency. Identify errors, discrepancies, or missing information, and take appropriate action, including escalation or correction as per protocol. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of regulatory requirements, document types, validation rules, and compliance frameworks. Liaise effectively with team leads, internal departments, and leadership to resolve queries, escalate issues, or seek guidance. Submit validated documents to officers with zero errors, supporting customer confidence in compliance processes. Maintain strict adherence to data privacy and confidentiality standards while handling sensitive customer information. Provide timely, professional communication and feedback to internal stakeholders to support operational efficiency. Consistently meet or exceed quality, accuracy, and turnaround time targets as defined by service level agreements. Document and maintain accurate records of all validation activities for compliance, audit, and reporting purposes. Support continuous improvement by identifying process inefficiencies or risks and contributing to enhancement initiatives. Collaborate with and assist team members by sharing knowledge, offering guidance, and promoting best practices.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Education & TrainingBachelor's Degree or Equivalent Excellent English literacy Basic working knowledge of Microsoft Suite and computer proficiency Interest in producing and maintaining standardized, accurate, and effective documentation Logical ability to be able to interpret Ability to independently interpret document types, and who can then be trusted to work within a team or independently function within a team Customer service skills Strong communication skills Strong attention to detail Gather and organize information while meeting commitments on time Perform well-defined tasks Effective time management skills

Years of Related Experience6 months - 1 year Data/Administrative/Finance/Compliance industry work experience or equivalent
