Job Description
Houghton Primary School invites applications from suitably qualified and experienced educators for a full-time SGB Teaching Position starting in January 2026.
Minimum Requirements:
- A recognised Bachelor of Education Degree - Intersen Phase
- SACE Registration - valid and up to date
- Minimum of 5 years teaching experience in a Primary School
- Proven teaching experience in the following subjects:
o EMS - Grade 7
o NS - Grade 7
o Technology - Grade 7
o SS - Intersen Phase
o Creative Arts - Intersen Phase
o CAPS Curriculum Proficiency
The desired candidate should have strong classroom management and learner discipline skills. The candidate should contribute to the school ethos and be a team player. An added advantage would be an ability to coach various sporting codes as well as introduce new codes to the school. In addition to the above, the candidate should be a professional educator with energy and a passion for teaching and learner development. The educator should communicate well and work well within a team.

Pay: R20000,00 - R25000,00 per month
