Responsibilities:

UX Design & Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with stakeholders to define overall Product & UX strategy and goals. Continuously assess market trends, competitive landscape, and customer feedback to inform UX direction. Utilize data and analytics to assess product performance and iterate based on user behaviour and feedback. Collaborate with product managers, product owners, business analysts, and developers to understand user needs and translate them into intuitive and functional designs. Create wireframes, prototypes, and user flows to effectively communicate design concepts. Conduct user research and usability testing to gather feedback and iterate on designs. Ensure consistency in design across all platforms and devices. Partner with product managers and developers to ensure the feasibility and implementation of design solutions. Collaborate with marketing and branding teams to maintain brand consistency and integrity. Advocate for the user throughout the design process, championing user empathy and advocating for their needs and goals.

Information Architecture:

Define the structure and organization of information within products or services.

Interaction Design:

Tackle complex design challenges and provide user-centric solutions. Create wireframes, prototypes, and interaction patterns. Collaborate with visual designers to ensure UI alignment with user experience goals.

Visual Design:

Oversee the visual design process and ensure alignment with user experience goals and brand guidelines. Establish and maintain a comprehensive design system for consistency across products.

Usability Evaluation:

Conduct usability evaluations and propose improvements based on findings. Monitor product performance metrics and drive initiatives for optimization. Conduct user research activities to gather insights and validate design decisions.

Leadership:

Serve as a mentor to junior designers, providing guidance and support in their professional growth within your own clan and other clans. Manage and mentor a team of UX Designers and other specialists within your client project. Lead UX Clan Rituals and workshops to ideate and iterate on design solutions. Foster a collaborative and inclusive environment within the UX Clan, encouraging knowledge sharing and continuous learning. Act as a liaison between the UX Clan and other departments, advocating for user-centered design principles and best practices. Provide support to other Clan Leads. Participate in New Business proposal designs and compiling of collateral that will aid in selling BBD UX to clients and stakeholders. Provide an environment for BBD Clan Members to grow provide leadership and consultation where needed to help team members remain on their career paths and keep adding value in their spaces.

UX Project Management

Manage multiple UX projects in your space simultaneously, prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines. Work closely with the Product Owner and other Stakeholders to define project goals, scope, and deliverables. Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and align design solutions with business objectives. Track and report on the progress of projects, identifying potential risks and proposing mitigation strategies.

Requirements:

Degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field. 3+ years of experience in UX/UI design, with a strong portfolio showcasing previous work. Proficiency in design tools such as Sketch, Adobe XD, Figma, or similar. Experience with user research methodologies and usability testing. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams. Proven leadership experience, with the ability to inspire and motivate others. Excellent time management and organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Familiarity with Agile and Lean UX methodologies is a plus.
