We are looking for an

UX/UI Designer (all genders)

based in Cape Town.

Your role

As a

UX/UI Designer (all levels)

you will be responsible for creating visually stunning and intuitive digital experiences for a leading German automotive client. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers and product owners, to understand project requirements and translate them into conversion driven user-centric design solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Collaborate with UX/UI leads and the Cape Town team to create customer-centric designs that align with our vision, mission, and values for international clients Take ownership of your work, accept and provide constructive criticism, explain design decisions, and collaborate effectively. Partner with the product team, stakeholders, and customers to design solutions that meet both customer and business objectives. Contribute to Figma components and tokens for clients' white label design systems, building a solid design foundation for the future. Present work in meetings, handle feedback, and support designs with UX research and usability testing, including facilitating user research if needed. Create low-fidelity wireframes, high-fidelity prototypes, and responsive UI designs in Figma, and work closely with development teams for seamless implementation.

We would like you to have:

minimum 2-5 years of user-centered UX/UI design experience, including contributing to and working with design systems Diploma or equivalent qualification in the design field Strong communication skills for presenting concepts and collaborating with cross-functional teams and stakeholders Proficiency in Figma for design and prototyping Experience with design tokens; additional skills in motion design tools are a plus Flexible approach to working across diverse products Knowledge of front-end development (HTML, CSS) Familiarity with ticket-based systems such as Jira and Confluence Agency experience and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment Portfolio demonstrating a variety of design projects
