"UX Designer (JB3975)

R240 - 360 000 per annum

Durban, Kwazulu Natal

Duration: Permanent

Remote or Hybrid

Nestled in the UK health sector, our client provides innovative software solutions to improve and manage services. As the UX Designer, you will translate complex requirements into user-friendly designs.

The ideal candidate would have a deep understanding of wireframing, user-centric design principles and the ability to work within an agile development methodology.

Requirements:

Bachelors degree in Design, Computer Science, or a related field.

Proven experience as a UX Designer and UI Designer working in an agile environment.

A strong portfolio of design projects showcasing wireframing skills and user-centred design solutions.

Proficiency in standard UX software such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe InDesign, Axure, InVision, UXPin, Balsamiq, Framer, or similar.

Ability to work with clients to understand detailed requirements and design complete user experiences.

Experience in using UX design best practices to design solutions and a deep understanding of mobile-first and responsive design.

A solid grasp of user-centred design, testing methodologies, subsystems, and usability and accessibility concerns.

Ability to iterate designs and solutions efficiently within an agile development process.

Ability to work effectively in a team setting, including synthesising abstract ideas into concrete design implications.

Duties:

Collaborate with customers to understand their needs and gather intricate requirements.

Translate customer requirements into detailed specifications for the development team.

Work closely with UX designers to ensure requirements are aligned with user-centric design principles.

Participate in Agile sprint planning, retrospectives, and daily stand-ups to ensure continuous development.

Act as a liaison between the development team and stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and understanding of requirements.

Develop and maintain comprehensive project documentation, including requirements, user stories, and process flows.

Facilitate requirement prioritisation with stakeholders based on business value and technical complexity.

Analyse existing processes and systems for improvements and recommend new solutions where necessary.

Support the development team throughout the agile development process, clarifying requirements as needed.

Stay updated with the latest trends and best practices in business analysis and agile methodologies.
