Utility & Plant Process Control Operator Automotive
Port Elizabeth - Eastern Cape - South Africa
Join a leading automotive manufacturing environment in Port Elizabeth. The position is open to candidates based in Port Elizabeth, Uitenhage, and East London. East London applicants must have immediate family or close friends in Port Elizabeth for relocation assistancenote that no company relocation support will be provided.
You will have strong mechanical aptitude, sound process control experience, and the ability to manage high-tech automated equipment across multiple production lines. Minimum Qualifications & Experience
- Grade 12 plus N4 or trade/technical qualification
- Minimum 5 years experience in an automated factory environment
- Hands-on experience operating and maintaining high-tech machinery
- Working knowledge of QMS and OSH Act
- Operate and maintain equipment: COS machines, enveloping, welding, sealing, leak and date coding machines
- Conduct start-ups, tool/mould/head changes per production schedule
- Maintain extraction and cooling systems, ensure safety and cleanliness of assembly lines
- Monitor production quality and act immediately to correct deviations
- Accurately complete production logs and job cards
