Utilities Manager Electrical Engineer

Job Description
The Utilities Manager - Electrical Engineer is responsible for the overall management of the electrical utility system, including planning, design, construction, operation, and maintenance. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical engineering and a proven track record of managing complex projects.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement long-term plans for the electrical utility system.
- Manage the design and construction of new electrical infrastructure.
- Oversee the operation and maintenance of the electrical utility system.
- Conduct risk assessments and ensure compliance with safety standards and electrical engineering codes.
- Research new technologies and applications for the electrical utility system.
- Manage a team of electrical engineers and technicians.
- Prepare and present reports to the Director of Utilities and other stakeholders.
- Strong knowledge of electrical engineering principles and practices.
- Experience in project management.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or a related field.
- 10+ years of experience in the electrical utility industry.
