Key Responsibilities
Sales & Performance Management
Forecast monthly and annual sales, gross profit, and expenses
Monitor sales targets for the used?vehicle team
Conduct daily and weekly sales meetings and ongoing training
Assist salespeople in closing deals and improving performance
Team Leadership
Recruit, hire, motivate, counsel, and monitor sales staff
Ensure proper staffing and scheduling of the department
Enforce product?knowledge standards and dealership processes
Stock, Appraisals & Reconditioning
Appraise all incoming used vehicles and determine trade?in values
Maintain optimal stock levels based on market trends and customer demand
Oversee reconditioning to ensure quality within cost and time limits
Plan and control the display and merchandising of used vehicles
Operational & Compliance Oversight
Prepare and administer the annual operating budget
Ensure compliance with local, provincial, and national regulations affecting used?vehicle sales
Maintain accurate payroll and commission records for sales staff
Customer Experience & Retention
Implement and monitor follow?up systems for prospects and buyers
Ensure 100% turnover to F&I for every customer
Enhance customer satisfaction ratings and dealership reputation
Qualifications
3-5 years years industry experience
Drivers license
Matric
