Sitting Pretty and Steffany Roup Jewellery are looking for a new team member to join our sales team in Stellenbosch.
Requirements:
You love people, are friendly and engaging, selling excites you.
Previous retail experience preferable.
JOB description/Key responsibilities include greeting customers, answering product questions, processing sales at the till, keeping the store tidy and well-stocked, and assisting with visual merchandising. This role requires flexibility and reliability to cover various shifts.
Preferably live in or close to Stellenbosch.
Customer Service
Greeting & Assistance:
Welcome customers, help them locate products, and answer questions about items.Sales Support:
Provide product knowledge, offer advice on sales and promotions, and recommend items to meet customer needs.Complaint Resolution:
Address customer inquiries and complaints in a professional and helpful manner.Sales & Transactions
Point of Sale (POS):
Operate cash registers and POS systems to process customer payments.Returns & Refunds:
Handle returns and refunds for products.Sales Targets:
Contribute to store sales goals by effectively promoting and selling products.Stock & Store Management
Stocking:
Unpack deliveries, restock shelves, rotate stock, and ensure the shop floor is always well-presented.Inventory:
Assist with inventory counts and keep accurate records of stock levels.Merchandising:
Help set up and maintain visually appealing product displays to attract customers.Store Operations
Maintenance:
Keep the store clean, tidy, and organized at all times.Promotional Events:
Participate in promotional activities and events in the store.Teamwork:
Collaborate effectively with other team members to achieve store objectives and ensure a smooth operation.Key Skills & Qualities
