Job Description
Are you an experienced Theatre professional with strong leadership ability and a passion for delivering high-quality perioperative care. This is an opportunity to take on a senior leadership role within a well-established private hospital, overseeing the full operations, clinical standards and team performance of a busy Operating Theatre complex.
What You Will Lead
- Daily management of Theatre activities, clinical standards and patient safety
- Coordination of surgical lists, workflow and Theatre utilisation
- Leadership, mentoring and performance management of the Theatre nursing team
- Implementation of quality assurance, infection control and clinical governance measures
- Stock, equipment and budget oversight to ensure efficient resource use
- Multidisciplinary collaboration with surgeons, anaesthetists and hospital departments
- Monitoring of Theatre outcomes, indicators and improvement initiatives
- Registered Nurse with SANC
- Post-basic Theatre qualification or strong Theatre competency
- Minimum 5 years clinical experience in Theatre
- At least 2 years in a leadership or supervisory role
- Strong knowledge of perioperative standards, technologies and regulatory requirements
- Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate and develop nursing teams
- Solid experience in resource management, risk mitigation and operational coordination
