Hire Resolve's client is actively seeking a talented Underground Rigger to join their mining company located in Mpumalanga. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and efficient rigging and lifting of equipment and materials within the mining operations.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct inspections and prepare rigging equipment for lifting operations.
- Coordinate with operators and ground crew to ensure lifts are executed safely.
- Conduct risk assessments and follow safety protocols during rigging operations.
- Perform regular maintenance and inspections on rigging equipment.
- Maintain accurate documentation of all rigging activities and equipment usage.
- Provide training and mentorship to junior riggers.
- Grade 12
- Rigger Trade Test Certificate (Section 13/26D)
- N2 Certificate in Engineering
- 5 years' experience as an Underground Rigger
- Extensive experience on Winder Steel Ropes
- Valid Driver's License
- Salary: Negotiable
- Paid Time Off (PTO) (If Applicable)
