Job Description

To act as the first point of contact for customers, providing exceptional service by handling inquiries, resolving issues, and supporting clients with insurance policy information and transactions.
Key Responsibilities

  • Customer Support:
  • Respond to incoming calls, emails, and live chats regarding insurance policies, claims, and coverage.
  • Provide accurate information on products, premiums, and policy terms.
  • Policy Administration:
  • Process policy changes, renewals, cancellations, and updates.
  • Assist customers with claims initiation and documentation.
  • Problem Resolution:
  • Investigate and resolve customer complaints or escalate to relevant departments.
  • Follow up with customers to ensure issues are resolved and satisfaction is achieved.
  • Sales & Retention:
  • Identify opportunities for cross-selling or upselling additional insurance products.
  • Maintain strong customer relationships to improve retention rates.
  • Compliance & Documentation:
  • Ensure all interactions comply with FCA regulations and company policies.
  • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and transactions.
Skills & Qualifications
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of insurance products and regulatory requirements.
  • Ability to handle high-volume calls and multitask effectively.
  • Proficiency in CRM systems and Microsoft Office.
Requirements
  • Completed Matric or NQF 4 Equivalent (must be able to produce)
  • Valid SA ID (must be able to produce)
  • Tax Number
  • 1-year minimum unbroken prior UK Insurance experience is a must
Working Hours
  • Full-time, 09:00 until 20:00 (no weekends for now- based on Operational requirements)
Remuneration
  • Salary range: R9000 + commission (up to R5000)
