Role: UI Technical Lead
Location: Remote (ideally JHB based)
A well-known Marketing-Technology leader is looking for a UI Technical Lead to join their dynamic software team! As the UI Tech Lead, you will be responsible for the overseeing the design, implementation, and evolution of their user interface (UI) and user experience (UX) across all platforms. You'll champion design principles, oversee the creation of high-quality UI components, and guide the team in delivering intuitive and engaging user experiences. This role focuses on establishing and enforcing engineering and design principles, promoting architectural best practices, and fostering a culture of technical excellence. You will champion robust software architecture, ensuring scalability, maintainability, and security across our interfaces. This role also entails identifying and implementing AI-powered tools to enhance UI design and prototyping processes. While the role is remote, it is a very collaborative and friendly environment and there is opportunity for growth and development.
Requirements:

• Tertiary Education, ideally BSc Information Technology
• Relevant Technical UI lead experience, ideally in an ecommerce environment
• Strong experience with UI/UX design, implementation across all platforms
• Good insight into design principles and software architecture
• Frontend software development of high-quality, reusable UI components using modern JavaScript frameworks (e.g., React, Vue.js, Angular)
• Ideally exposure to AI powered tools which enhance the UI design process
