UC Team Leader (IT) - PretoriaJob SummaryPreference: AA candidates (African Male/Female and/or Coloured Male/Female)Candidate will be required to travel to clients (will use Company vehicle, so must have a valid driver's license)Key Responsibilities:o Installation of Audio Visual equipment;o Support of Audio Visual equipment;o Installation of cabling and determining cable runs;o Termination of all Audio Visual cabling according to best practice standards;o Comprehensive knowledge of proper tool usage;o Mounting of Audio Visual equipment on any surface required;o Neatening and labelling racks;o Implementing solutions according to technical schematics;o Managing a UC installation team;o Must be able to work independently and alone on site support;o Adhering to safety standards and regulations. This includes use of required PPE alwayso Keeping an installation site neat and clean;o Preparing equipment, cabling and consumables for installations according to the solution required;o Must be available to work overtime when required;o Must be available to travel for installations when required;o Completing training when required;o Providing remote/ telephonic support;o Advances fault-finding;o Comprehensive knowledge of wiring, cable termination and best practice standards;o Video Conferencing and Audio Visual Equipment Configuration;o Preparing properly before attending to a site;o Liaising with suppliers and senior staff to resolve issues.Qualifications Required:o Senior Certificate (essential);o Minimum 2 - 4 year's Audio Visual Experience;o Strong knowledge of Audio Visual Systems;o AMX, Crestron and Extron qualifications strong advantage;o Proof of technical skills and experience;o Must have valid driver's licenseCompetencies:o Must be presentable - candidate will have to meet with clients;o Communication skills (read, write and speak) very important;o Continuous skill improvement and self-development;o Adhere to company processes;o Strong interpersonal skills (with customers, suppliers and team members);o Perform well under pressure;o Problem-solving;o Good planning skills;o Accurate and attention to detail;o Able to multi-task;o Organized;o Honest and reliable;o Deadline driven;o Hard-working;o Punctual.Apply Now
