Overview



We are seeking a highly organised, detail-driven Artisan Programme Coordinator to manage the full lifecycle of artisan training programmes. The ideal candidate will have strong administrative capability, SETA compliance knowledge, and the ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders while maintaining smooth programme delivery.

Key Responsibilities:



1. Artisan Management



Oversee the full apprenticeship process from learner recruitment to trade test completion. Manage learner registrations with relevant SETAs and ensure timely allocation of learner numbers. Monitor learner progress through theory, practicals (workshop simulations), workplace exposure, and logbook completion.

2. Stakeholder Coordination



Liaise with TVET colleges, SETAs, workplaces, trade test centres, facilitators, assessors, and moderators. Maintain strong communication channels to ensure alignment across all programme activities. Support host employers and training staff with programme delivery requirements.

3. Compliance & Administration



Ensure all programme activities comply with SETA, NAMB, QCTO, and qualification standards. Maintain accurate learner records, contracts, agreements, logbooks, and POE documentation. Prepare for external moderation, verification, and trade test submissions.

4. Training Operations Management



Schedule theory and practical training across multiple artisan disciplines. Coordinate facilitators, resources, equipment, and training venues. Track attendance, performance, and completion of assessments.

5. Learner Support & Monitoring



Conduct progress check-ins and provide guidance on workplace and training requirements. Manage learner challenges, dropouts & replacements, performance issues, and workplace-related concerns. Ensure learners are supported to meet competency requirements.

6. Trade Test Preparation



Confirm learner readiness and eligibility for trade testing. Coordinate trade test bookings and documentation submission to accredited centres. Support learners with completing their POEs and preparing for practical assessments.

7. Reporting & Data Management



Compile weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports for internal and SETA purposes. Maintain accurate programme databases, learner records, and monitoring tools to track progression, attendance, assessments, and compliance milestones. Provide management with data-driven insights on programme progress and challenges.

8. Marketing & Business Development Support



Assist in positioning and marketing Circleway as a Trade Test Centre and Artisan training provider. Engage with employers, TVET colleges, municipalities, and SETAs to generate awareness and secure training/testing opportunities. Support the development of marketing materials, outreach campaigns, and learner/employer recruitment initiatives. Identify gaps or opportunities in the artisan development sector and advise on potential programme expansion. Maintain relationships that drive repeat business, referrals, and stronger programme pipelines.

Minimum Requirements



Degree in Education, Human Resources, Project Management, or related field (advantageous: Artisan Development or SETA experience). Minimum 2-3 years' experience coordinating training, learnerships, apprenticeships, or similar programmes. Strong understanding of SETA processes, artisan qualifications, and trade test requirements. Excellent administrative and organisational skills. Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook). Valid driver's license and willingness to travel.

Pay: R6400,00 - R7500,00 per month
