School holiday hours:

If the candidates does not work, this will be unpaid. If the candidate is available and would like to retain the same income, fun activities can be done over the school holidays


A family is looking for a TUTOR for their daughter

Area:

Claremont

Child's Age:

9 year old - Girl (Grade 3) - Autistic and PDA with visual issues

Child's Neurodivergence Snapshot:

Main issue is her eyes (she is going for surgery soon), her eyes can't see straight. She is double jointed, she can't hold a pen correctly. PDA - mood changes are tirggered, mainly from dis-justice to herself or someone else. She is self motivated and driven.

Support Style:

She does see a psychologist and OT. When she is triggered, best way is to validate her and give her some space. She wants to be seen as a equal and not excluded from the solution.

Duties:

Needs remedial maths and English assistance. General Curriculum Support in all prescribed Subjects

Very patient and tolerant of PDA autistic

Start Date and contract term:

23 July - permanent

Salary:

R250ph (Gross, before deductions) + SARS rates per km IF any driving is required (R4.76)



All Au Pair Extraordinaire applicants must fill the following requirements:

Must have at least 12 consecutive months of formal child caring experience, excluding work done for friends and family. This experience must be within the last 2 years.

Must have their own, reliable car and at least 18 months driving experience.

Must have at least 2 contactable childcare references.

Must have a clear criminal record

Must have a passion for children

Must have Matric

Must have a South African ID document.
