Duties & Responsibilities
Set up, operate, and program CNC machines, including lathes and milling machines, ensuring all components meet established precision standards.
Conduct inspections and regular maintenance on machinery and infrastructure to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.
Adhere to planned maintenance schedules and assume responsibility for new installations while maintaining comprehensive maintenance records.
Inspect tools, equipment, and mechanical systems to identify defects and implement immediate corrective actions when necessary.
Collaborate with and mentor Artisan Aides and trainees, providing expertise and guidance to enhance skill development and operational efficiency.
Ensure compliance with Safety Health Environment and Community (SHEC) policies and maintain a safe and healthy work environment.
Perform quality control inspections on mechanical components and ensure adherence to rigorous safety and quality standards.
Engage in resource planning and utilize available personnel and equipment effectively to meet production and maintenance objectives.
Participate in hazard identification and risk assessments, addressing unsafe practices and reporting potential hazards to superiors.
