Job Description
We are recruiting an experienced, qualified Turner (Artisan) to join our client's team. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills in operating manual and CNC lathes, with a proven track record in precision machining and mechanical repairs.Key Responsibilities:
- Operate manual and CNC lathes to produce or refurbish precision components.
- Read and interpret technical drawings and engineering specifications.
- Conduct accurate measurements and inspections to ensure quality standards.
- Support mechanical repairs, upgrades, and part replacement projects.
- Comply with all safety, health, and quality regulations.
- Trade Test Certificate as a Turner or in Fitting and Turning (or equivalent recognized qualification).
- Minimum of 35 years of experience in a turning or machining role, preferably in a heavy industrial or engineering environment.
- Proficient in interpreting technical drawings and using measuring instruments.
- CNC machining experience is a strong advantage.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
- Work in a modern, fully equipped workshop environment.
