Unicare is seeking to appoint a qualified Travel Medicine Nurse that is: passionate about providing patient-centred clinic services. This diverse role will be based in our 24hr Pharmacy in Bassonia.

Job description

Job Objectives:

Provide pre and post travel consultations, including risk assessments and health advice based on travel destinations Administer travel-related and routine immunisations in line with national and international guidelines. Offer patient education on malaria prophylaxis, prevention of infectious diseases, and general travel health precautions Maintain accurate and confidential patient records, ensuring compliance with cold chain management. Collaborate with the multi-disciplinary team to support overall clinic services. Work across all other clinics like PHC, Women's Health, Baby Clinic, adult immunisations primary health care (minor ailments and wound care) as needed. Establish and build health professional networks in order to further enhance the commercial viability of the clinic and the service offering to patients.

Role Details:

Full-time position within a 12-hour operational clinic. Rotational shifts apply

Minimum requirements

Minimum Requirements:

Diploma/Degree in General, Community, Psychiatry Nursing and Midwifery SANC registered (essential) Travel Medicine License (essential) 2-3 years' experience in clinical nursing, preferably in primary health care
