Transport Operations Assistant
Privately-owned company specialising in Transport and Freight seeks a Transport Ops Assistant who has an understanding of the port procedures & documentation. Responsible for receiving orders from client, arranging trucks, sending load confirmations to hauliers & follow up from point of loading through to offloading. Ensure all orders, proof of delivery & other docs accurate for invoicing, be able to supply rates as requested from clients and travel to loading sites to supervise loading when necessary. Will suit someone who has been exposed to Transport Brokerage. Drivers' license essential. Saturday work will depend on the company work load at the time. Salary: R8 000 - R10 000 neg.
