Job Summary Transport Manager - 3PL (JB5467) Location: Sandton, Johannesburg, Gauteng Salary: R35 000 - R40 000 per month (Negotiable, based on experience) Employment Type: Permanent Workplace: In-Office I Monday to Friday, 8:00 - 16:00 An international logistics company experiencing rapid growth in South Africa is seeking an experienced and hands-on Transport Manager to join their growing team. The Transport Manager will be responsible for overseeing all transport-related activities, with an initial focus on third-party transporters (local and cross-border). Over time, the position will evolve into a fleet management function as the business grows and begins to operate its own vehicles. Why this role? Newly created position with scope to grow into full fleet management. Contribute to strategy, vendor selection, and process development. Work in a high-growth, multicultural environment with global exposure. Minimum Requirements: Grade 12, or equivalent. Relevant qualification in logistics or supply chain (advantageous). Minimum of two years' experience in a transport or logistics management role. Proven experience managing third-party logistics operations. Existing relationships with local and cross-border road freight suppliers. Excellent negotiation and communication skills. Strong computer literacy. Ability to work independently and manage pressure in a fast-paced setting.
