Job Description


Purpose of RoleManagement of the transport contract, including, among others, monitoring of permissions and communication of transport incidentsComply with and enforce all the personnel in charge and subcontracted with the requirements of the health and safety plan or any other directive or directive of safety or environment applicable to the project.Key Responsibilities [Key Performance Areas]

  • Monitoring of compliance and deviations from the Logistics Plan. Report the deviations from the Logistics Plan to those directly responsible
  • Control and validate the cost associated with the logistics process together with the
  • Contract Manager, including deviations caused by stoppages
  • Control of loading / unloading of components (nacelle, hub, blades, drive train, tower sections, segments) through tracking (origin,destination, date, time). Provide information for the daily meeting
  • Receive / Close ERP purchase orders related to Warehouse.
  • Monitoring of transport. Daily monitoring and daily reporting of transport problems (knocks, damage, cleaning, etc.).
  • Reverse logistics: coordination with the planner and the tooling department to organize the reverse logistics shipments:know when there are tools for a shipment, plan the transport, or need to release tools. Inform in the event that shortages are detected in the returned material, referring to the transportation tools.
  • Management port and TCI/transport contract for the final run
  • Check transport permissions with the supplier
  • Check the road survey & confirm modifications with the supplier
  • Communicate the weekly transport plan to port, factory and windfarm
  • Communicate deviation to all the areas involved
  • Communicate weekly tracking
  • Check and validate the penalties with the site controller
Skills / Competencies
  • Communication skills in English language (spoken and written)
  • Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills
  • Strong personal planning & organization skills
  • High level of commitment, proactivity and dedication
  • Ability to work with different business cultures
  • Software skills utilizing: JDE, SAP, PDM, Windchill
  • MS Office basic programs (MS Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Sharepoint)
  • Efficient in terms of time and cost saving
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers and customers
  • Systematic problem solving and safety orientated behaviour. Timely and effective management of logistics issues
  • The position requires a high willingness and flexibility to travel
Experience, Knowledge & Qualifications
  • Intermediate Level Training Cycle, Having experience in warehouse/transport operations (minimum 2 years).
  • Basic HSE training and experience
  • GWO Training Standard
  • Forklift / telehandler operator training
  • JDE/SAP/UPVISE
  • Risk Electric without switchgear
