Transfer Conveyancing Secretary

Job Description

We are searching for an experienced and mature Conveyancing Secretary for an opportunity to support a legal firm of attorneys, notaries and conveyancers.

You must be able to handle a busy workload (multiple files simultaneously) whilst maintaining a high-quality support service. The main area of law you will support is residential and commercial conveyancing. You will be a key point of contact for queries and be responsible for providing general support to the conveyancing team, liaising, and updating clients, agents and third parties when required.

Minimum Requirements/Criteria Include



At least 2 years' experience (Junior) and 5+ years' experience (Senior) in a similar conveyancing related role

Capable of handling large volumes of files (30 Junior) and (60+ Senior)

South African citizen

Matric (non negotiable)

Must have LEXIS Convey experience (non negotiable)

A relevant legal qualification would be an advantage

An excellent command of Afrikaans and English, both written and verbal, is a requirement of the role

Location: Northern Suburbs -Tygervalley, Cape Town
