• Possession of a Business Science or Commerce honours degree, with specialisation in financial mathematics, accounting, or statistics.
• The aspiration to move into the field of project and infrastructure finance is imperative.

EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

• 7 yearsxe2x80x99 experience in M&A, corporate finance, private equity, or project finance.
• Thorough understanding of and ability to present financial principles and processes.
• Proficient in financial data correlations and analysis.
• Strong technical knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint as well as BI tools (VBA Desirable).
• Independent work capability and innovative problem-solving skills.
• International experience with emerging markets or throughout Africa is advantageous.

RESPONSIBILITIES
The role encompasses diverse critical tasks, primarily providing financial advisory services to private and public entities, focusing on project finance projects and corporate finance transactions. You will manage a multi-disciplinary transaction advisory team, guide them through project intricacies, and perform meticulous risk assessments. Responsibilities also include preparing comprehensive reports, negotiating legal agreements, and presenting outcomes to stakeholders. As a proficient communicator, you'll collaborate with the financial modelling team, arrange finance for projects, engage with rating agencies and lenders, and lead due diligence processes. Your role extends to coordinating the transaction advisory team, contributing to business development, and assisting in general project management, reflecting your commitment to the dynamic demands of the position.
